Children must be between 8 and 14 years old. No climbing experience required, just an interest in trying!
Accommodation requests:
Wondering if your child’s climbing experience matches the prerequisites? Is your child slightly outside the target age group? Write to us at rikibloc@gmail.com or via Messenger! We are open to accommodation requests. Please contact us BEFORE registering!
Cost :
$349.00 + tax
Note: the camp is eligible for the childcare tax credit (Relevé 24); you could be credited up to 78% of the fees paid!
Dates and schedule:
There are two options: July 7–11 and August 11–15. Camp hours are from 9 am to 4 pm. Early drop-off available from 8:30 am, and late pick-up is possible.
Transportation:
Parents can drop off their children at Riki Bloc between 8:30 and 9 am and pick them up starting at 4 pm.
The only exception is the day at Parc Beauséjour: the hours remain the same, but the meeting point is at the main welcome center of Parc Beauséjour.
Otherwise, all travel is on foot or by bike (not provided by Riki Bloc; with instructor approval, your child may use another means of transport such as a scooter, skateboard, or inline skates). The ferry fee for Île Saint-Barnabé is included in the camp price.
Supervision:
Two to three experienced instructors certified by the Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l’Escalade will be in charge of the camp. If your child stays past 4 pm, they are considered autonomous, but a responsible adult will remain present at Riki Bloc.
